College Life

I haven't updated in forever because I frankly forgot about updating and so therefore never did, and the only reason that I am doing this now is because my mom is making me.  as many of you know I am starting my first semester of college at BYU-I and this weekend I moved into my dorms.  I have five roommates, Kyle who is in my room, Brigham, Nick, Mack, and Joshua.  They are all cool people, but we are all very different so it is going to be an interesting semester.  We are all freshmen besides Kyle who is a RM who served in England.  On my first day here I was able to move in quickly and get all my stuff so that I didn't have to worry about it.  My mom and dad were here to help me and they also took me to Wal-Mart to get some things that I needed.  There was a little orientation meeting and then after that we split up into assigned groups (all freshmen) and did a little get-to-know-you things.  There I met Theodore, who is from Henderson, NV and is related to one of my favorite teachers in high school.  So that was cool and exciting.  After that I got to say goodbye to my parents and have dinner with them one last time.  Later in the night there was a new student talent show that we went to in our groups.  It was pretty cool and there were some great acts (mostly singers).  Then we went directly to a gym where we did some fun games in our group.  We played missionary tag and also a giant game of ninja (there was at least 20 people in my group that showed up).  That was all really fun and lasted until around midnight so I didn't get to bed until around 1:30ish.  On Saturday we went and had some more introduction type meetings and then we went on a tour of the campus with our groups.  It was really interesting and informative, but seemed like it lasted forever.  We then separated from our groups and went to the college (department) that our major was apart of.  In my group there were two other people in the business college, both of them girls.  I only remember one of there names because we did some other stuff together later, but the other girl was also doing accounting and Dianne was doing business management (one of the majors I was considering).  We then went to the get involved fair where I signed up for a bunch of things (some of which I will not be doing) and hung out with Dianne and Mack.  Then I went back to my room to find that Kyle was moving in (he wasn't here on Friday) and then just hung out with Mack and Joshua.  We then went to I-Night, which was just a bunch of activities that you could do around the center of campus and hung out with Mack all night.  All night we were trying to figure out which ward we were supposed to go to on Sunday and finally around 11:45 we figured it out.  I am in the 41st ward in the 5th stake and I meat at 10:30.  Now I am just sitting around the room and doing random things with my roommates.  I only have a microwave to cook things in, but I got a lot of soup on Friday, but when I cooked my lunch today I was afraid cause my microwave was making a weird noise, but Kyle didn't seem to react so I figured it was normal.  Well that was my weekend and I will try to update at least every other Sunday, but judging by this post I might have to do it every Sunday to make the posts shorter.

Krissy

Haha ya so the earliest memory that I have of Krissy is for some reason her playing Diddy Kong Racing and how she was always the turtle.  I don't kno y this is the memory that I remember but it is.  She is always fun and we always have a good laugh when we r with her.  She always has a good attitude and is great with kids. I love ya Krissy.

Randomness... Or Is It??

So Krissy won and I kno that it really wasn't a surprise and that it was really a "who reads this first" instead of a guess thingy but o well.  So my next post will be for Krissy and ya.  So update on life, first with the happynesses.  I got an iTunes gift card for my birthday and stuff and so I've been getting a lot of songs because I love songs especially when they tell the mood that I am in.  This summer my friend was on a spiritual kick and so we listened to the Christian radio and I actually liked some of the songs.  These songs are Stronger by Mandisa, You Love Me Anyway by Sidewalk Prophets, and Blessings by Laura Story.  They are all really good and are all on YouTube if you want to listen to them (which you should of course cause I said to).  And of course I got one more song which is by my favorite singer which is .... (I'll do another guessing game for a post cause I'm feeling generous so ya guess who it is) which is called Louder.  So ya I love all of these songs.  Now the kinda sad and the really sad (at least to me).  So I hate my math class this semester (it is only a semester class) and that is saying something!!  So ya I have all A's right now but I took a test today in math and it was a 4 question test! A FOUR QUESTION TEST!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean who does that!  If you miss just one question you automatically have a C!  So my A in that class is a like 90.5 or something around there.  So basically now I will get a B and it is the end of the quarter and ya I'm pissed (excuse my language).  So ya that was the really sad part.  The kinda sad part was that I didn't make the hot foods team, I came in 6th and only 5 people can be on it.  Ya ok now to my teenage dream of the post.  Um I would have to choose um most likely that Thriller will have Giggle Girl again ya that sounds good.  TTFN

The Return

So I haven't updated in forever because I just never had time... well I did I just didn't use it wisely.  So this is catch up time for all those peeps who actually read this.  So this was my "busiest summer"  <--- in quotes because it wasn't really busy but I did a lot of stuff btw.  so anyways I made new friends on the volleyball team sophmore year and we did a lot of stuff and I was hanging with them almost every day... actually kinda like every day... besides sunday.... ya.  So anyways moving on.  Summer at Oregon as usual.  Volleyball Camp with a whole bunch of friends.... and Taz... and Corbin(ugh).  Sorry i'll try to only be nice here but just like ugh ya thats all I'm gonna say.  O and horrible rash all summer that like litterally went away just last week after three doctor visits.  So little story about that.  First week of school is always tiring and blah so the second week is even worse and I ALWAYS get exauhsted and sleep deprived.  So because of the rash (and a lingering cold) I was high on meds.  Well not high but was taking a lot.  I was taking zertec which makes you drowsy(and all the peeps in Oregon should kno that drowsy medicine affects me um simply put negativly) and every now and then I would take benedrill(totally spelled wrong).  So in other words, I was freaken tired.  I would come home hurry through my homework and then go sleep wake up for dinner and go to bed.  that was my day Mon-Fri.  On Sat I would sleep all day and be a bumb around the house and on suday I did nothing.  Ya so not a great start to the school year but o well I don't really care kinda at all about how I start the year.  So moving on, I got a new PIANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for my birthday and its the best present I got (with Krissy's picture in a very close second, sorry all the others but how can you beet those?) and I love it.  So I just wanted to thank Ella for her blog post and the picture with us sitting next to the fish pond is my favorite picture of the summer (with my FB profile pic in a close second, what can I say I'm very undecisive).  So Cynjyn just walked in like litterally right now with a callender for 2012 and guess what the month of October's picture is?  Winner gets a post dedicated just to them and mom and Cynjyn can't guess sorry.  Yupperoni thats it for now and ya my current dream is to make the hot foods team for competition (if I do make it I'll explain later), but if I don't make it I'll be on the managment team so I'm fine if I lose.  So ya thats my teenaged dream for now.
