Week Before Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving week/ Jane Austen Ball

So I have been really busy lately and haven't posted a lot (much to mother's annoyance) so here is an update.

The week before Thanksgiving I actually had a social life. On Tuesday and Thursday I had a movie night with Amber, Emily and their friends. We watched The Phantom of the Opera on Tuesday and then watched the sequel that Amber has the was a professionally recorded play in Australia. I was really excited about seeing the sequel, and it was really good.

On Friday Amber, Dianne, and I went over to my friend Anna's apartment and played some group games with her and her roommates. It was super fun and I learned a new group game that  I am going to have to play a lot more. It is called Number Ninja. It sounds way complicated when I try to explain it so I am not going to, just know that it is really fun.

On Saturday Dianne invited me to go to a dance performance that her friend was in. It was a bunch of her friends that went with us. The picture below is of me, Dianne, and Sam. It was put on by the dance majors, and there were some amazing dances. There was this one waltz that was practically all lifts and it blew my mind to pieces.

Then came Thanksgiving week. I only had classes on Monday, so I decided to leave on Tuesday. I posted on the ride board that I need four people. Literally three hours before I was going to leave two people dropped out. So I only had two people come with me, Corby and Ashley. Ashley sat in the back and listened to music totally ignoring us. Corby sat in the front and drifted between sleep, awkward silence, and then awkward conversation (I liked it when he was asleep the most). We made great time, I left around 3 and then got to Brian and Krissy's house around 7:30.

I had a lot of fun hanging out with all of the family. On Thanksgiving day I went over to the condo and spent the day with Grandma, Grandpa, Rob, Jodi, and Trey (and ellie... elly... idk how to spell her name). I was expecting to go out to eat, but Jodi and Grandma made a homemade meal. It was really good. Then I just sat around playing games with Grandma, Grandpa, and Trey... and I also got Rob to play pinnacle with us.

On the day after Thanksgiving Grandma made another meal for the Terrys, Thurstons, Jodie, and me. It was really good too. Before and after dinner I entertained the kiddies. I got a little break when Krissy broke out the gingerbread stuff that the Terrys left her... though it wasn't a break for my hand... darn the frosting.

I also got to play some hand and foot with grandma, grandpa, and Krissy. It was a blast.

Clay was excited to show me some of the new games that he got. One of my favorites was the game called escape. It is a team game and super fun. Beckham didn't like that actually game, but he played the game that Kres made up in the house.

We had to crawl through Kres's tape trap... in the dark...

Finally Krissy, Ky, Grandma, Jodie, Trey, and I went to go see..... CATCHING FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!! It was super good and I am in love with the new behind the scenes people (they fired all of the people from the first film because it didn't do as good as they hoped, and it was much better). I cannot wait till I get to see the last two.

And of course one of my favorite parts is just socializing with Ky, Krissy, and Grandma.

On the way home I only had to take Corby back because Ashley had been dropped off by her parents (her famliy went to Island Park or something by Yellowstone.... which is on the other side of BYU-I... so she drove to Boise, and then drove back past BYU-I...) and so I only had to take back some of her stuff. The ride back was basically the same as the ride up, only Corby sat in the back and there was less awkward conversation.

And finally that brings me to tonight. Tonight was the Jane Austen Ball. Me and Amber decided to go way back in November. Krissy was a nice aunt and took me to Good Will and Wal-mart while I was with her. I found a good suit jacket and pants at Good Will and a scarf/necktie at Wal-mart. She then took me to my favorite restaurant, Olive Garden, which was amazing as usual. I then had her set up the sewing machine so that I could shorten the jacket so it looked like it was from the Jane Austen time period.

These are the before and after pics. I was pretty proud of my first time sewing job. It turned out great in my opinion.

So as I was saying tonight was the ball and I got all fancy and picked up Amber. We had a blast, there were tables with cards on them so we played cards when we were too tired to dance. My favorite dance is the waltz, and most of the songs were in 3/4 so it was a perfect place to just waltz (we had learned some of the dances from the time period, but we wanted to waltz instead). Towards the end they had some judges go around and pick the top three male costumes, female costumes, couple costumes, and their favorite costumes. Guess what... I won best male costume... I was really surprised. There were these three amazing guy costumes that I thought were for sure going to win, but they won the top three couple costumes. I got an amazing feather quill, that you actually have to dip in an ink jar.... its freakin amazing, and the feather is red which is an added bonus. Below are some pics... I'm to lazy to put them where they belong in this paragraph so deal.

So ya tonight was super fun.

Beginning of November.... ish

So Tuesday night me Nic, Brigham, and Mack were watching Naruto in the living room when we hear a bunch of commotion outside. We quickly looked outside and saw that it was snowing! It was officially the first snowfall of the season!
Nic hadn't seen snow so he quickly went out to go touch it. He was surprised at how soft it was.
The next morning I went to my first class and it was snowing, but by the time my third class was over it had stopped snowing and was starting to melt.

So remember that basketball game I had on Halloween, well the next day I had a cough. I thought it was just asthma so I took my inhaler and waited it out. It didn't go away by Sunday so I took another puff. Well on Tuesday I realized that it was sickness because I had a fever. It wasn't bad, and luckily I didn't have any classes to go to, but I didn't go to volleyball practice because of the cough. However on Wednesday I was really feeling it. I decided to push through it and went to my morning classes.  Luckily my second class was cancelled so I got a rest, but after my third class I was exhausted and really feeling it. I decided to see if I could make it to my next class that started 3 hours later, but I ended up not going to that class or my Business Law class afterwards. I had my study buddy come and pick up something that we need to turn in everyday no matter what and then went straight to get some medicine. Luckily my roommates were going shopping so I didn't have to drive there. I came back and decided I had to go to my last class because there was a group quiz that I couldn't make up, so I stocked up on cough drops and wrapped a scarf around my mouth and toughed it out. Good thing I went to cause we got a 100 on the test. Thursday was the worst for the sickness, but I had a basketball game again after volleyball practice. I had to go to the game because we  only have five people on the team, and without five people at the game we have to forfeit. Because I had to go to basketball I decided that I should also go to volleyball, but I ended up not going cause I was really sick. The basketball game sucked and I was dying the whole time, and we lost (which didn't surprise me). I went home and did nothing the rest of the night but watch Naruto. On Friday I went to all of my classes, which was only three cause my business law class was cancelled. and luckily my third class was only 10 min long. I went home and relaxed the rest of the day. My friend Amber really likes Thor, and she wanted me to go with her and her friends, so I invited all of my roommates. Kyle had a date so he couldn't go and Josh didn't want to go. The first showing was at 7:45 so we showed up at 7. (Amber and her friend had dressed up as Loki and Thor btw) It was sold out and so was the next one. The only one open was a 11 showing so we got tickets for that one. Nic decided that he should work on his paper instead and dropped out and then Amber's friend got a migraine so she dropped out, so it was me, Amber, Mack, and Brigham going now. Amber changed because she didn't want to be the only one dressed up. When we went back they accidentally started showing Last Vegas instead of Thor, so I didn't get to see the trailers that were in front of Thor, which sucked. Amber was really hyper throughout the movie and kept hitting me and Mack (she was inbetween us). I was still sick and the theater was hot so I was feeling a little nauseous, and one of Amber's freak outs over Loki hit me in the stomach so I felt like I had to throw up the whole movie, but I liked the movie. Curfew was at 1 and we got home at 1:15 and it was weird because there was some guy taking down names (I know that wasn't normal because my roommate had been past curfew twice) but we didn't really care because it was only 15 minutes and it wasn't like we could have drove faster or something. Now today was stake conference so I could sit in the back and cough up a storm and then our FHE sisters are having a dinner thing at their place that we are going to.

End of October

So the day before Halloween me and my roommates decided to have a pumpkin carving party. I invited some people and so did Kyle.
I carved a pokeball because my friend carved the triforce, which was what I was going to do.
We had Ghost Busters playing while carving, so after we were all done we finished that. Our FHE group also came over and brought pumpkin pie, but they had to leave early.

On Halloween day I had volleyball practice from 4:30-6 and then I am doing basketball with Nic and Mack (only because they needed another person in order to have a team) and the game was at 6:15. Normally it wouldn't matter, bur for practice that day we scrimmaged a team, and our opposite was gone, so I played the whole time. So that, on top of playing basketball right after, meant that I was exhausted and didn't do anything on Halloween besides homework. But just to appease my mother I made my roommates dress up in our costumes and take a picture, we were the power rangers.
On Friday everyone besides Josh went to a Chinese restaurant, and then to Walmart to buy candy. That was a fun night and we got a lot of candy.

So in English we are writing a synthesis paper, which is just fancyness for a research paper, that has to be 2000 words that is due tomorrow. So we had many due dates since getting the assignment, so I was basically done. I just needed 171 more words, which is one paragraph. So on Monday there was no class, but you had the option to come in and get help from the teacher, I had no idea what my last paragraph should be, since my paper was done basically, so I went in. I told my teacher about my dilemma and so she read the paper to find out a place to put another paragraph. She finished and said "your paper is pretty dang perfect and I wouldn't put another paragraph in because it is just like opening another can of worms. I am not going to count every word so if you just make your conclusion better (I am horrible at conclusions) then you should be good." She then told me some tips on writing my conclusion and that was it. I was super happy because she said my paper was perfect and that I was amazing at blending my quotes and that stuff. She also laughed while reading (I always try to add a little humor) and liked my examples. So needless to say I was super excited as I walked home.

A Great Accomplishment

Last week I was taking my business law test and happened to come across a question that sounded strangely familiar.

"Tanner, a well-known rapper, agrees to sell the copyright for his latest hit, “Goods, baby, goods” to Mitch, an up-and-coming pop star.  After Mitch records the song and makes it popular, Tanner makes his own recording and begins selling it.  Mitch believes Tanner has breached their sales contract.  Mitch could sue Tanner…"

My rap was so good that Sis. Hurly added it into her test for the section!  She writes the test based on our class discussions and topics.

Just thought you should know...

and I got the question right so that is good too...

Busyness

So these weekend was one of my busiest.  On Thursday I went to a dance thing (I have to go to two for the class) with my friend Amber, which was a lot of fun.  Then on Friday Amber and I went to a building where there was a lot of taxidermy animals.  After that I went to the International Students Halloween party with Dianne.  She was a cat and I was a vampire.  We had dinner there and then watched dance performances.

 An Bollywood dance
And a hula dance.

Then yesterday I had my second volleyball game.  I had more playing time, but I got hit in the face and my glasses broke and I got a bloody nose, so I was out for the rest of the game.  I didn't get a picture of the bloody nose btw.
So now I have to wear my other glasses that squeeze my head all the time.

After my volleyball game I went to a Harry Potter movie marathon that was going on at my friends apartments.  We got there for the last  min of HP 5.  There was only two people there and they left after 5, but one of them came back at the beginning of 7 and stayed to the end.

The Foolish Man Likes to Move It

So for my business law class we had to write a song describing what a good is.  My group decided on a song, and I was all like "I have amazing editing skills so I can combine two songs" (I didn't say it like that but that was what I was thinking.).  So I edited this video, there aren't any words because we were supposed to sing along to it.

So when I got to class today I didn't come up with any lyrics because I felt someone else should do it.  Well, no one else did it.  So we had the first part down pat, but then we didn't have a second part.  I decided that I would just wing it when it comes to the rap part and explain why our lyrics were the lyrics for the first part.  Well.....  I busted out a mean rap and everyone loved it.  I do not know what happened.  When the rap part came I just started rapping and trying to explain somethng and it turned out amazing and we won the competition (best song) because of it.  I just wanted to say that I'm quitting college to become a professional rapper.

Oh and btw the first part lyrics are
"the wise man built his house upon the rock
the wise man's house is not a good
the foolish man built his house on some wheels
so the foolish man's house is a good"

Don't ask me to tell you what I did during the rap because I have no idea what I said.  The thing I would have said if I was talking was:
"The foolish man's house is a good because it can be moved and the definition of a good is something that can be moved.  The wise man's house is not a good because it cannot be moved."
But it wasn't like that at all.

Update

Last Saturday was my first volleyball tournament.  It was just a round robin.  We played each team (there are six including us) twice.  We finished the day at 7:3 and the three we lost we best them by more than they beat us (a lot more).  Then Mack, Nic, Kyle and I went on a group date later in the day.  I asked my friend Karol from my English class and we went a friends.  Nic couldn't get somebody (everyone he asked already had a boyfriend) and so I asked Katie if she would go on a blind date with him.  We themed our date and the theme was gangster/white trash.  We started off the date at Deseret Industries and we had to pick out an outfit for our date (under $5).  That was fun and we had some cool outfits.  For some reason the girls thought that tie die was white trash because the other three guys all had tie die.  We then went to dinner at KFC which is pretty white trashy... then we went to Wal-Mart to play the cart game.  Each couple filled up a cart with 20 items from around the store, then we switched carts and the first couple to put everything back won.  That was the end of our date, but not the end of my night.  Nic found out that there was a social dance going on when we got back from the date.  Nic and Mack convinced me and Kyle to go with them.  Earlier in the week we all went to Idaho Falls and bought power ranger shirts so we wore that to the dance.  We got a lot of attention because we all know that Mormons are geeks/nerds and everyone loved our shirts.  We went outside to cool off and we met a group.  One of the girls loved our shirts and said that she even had the pink one.  We continued talking to her and we found out that she watched Walking Dead.  Me and Nic watch it and we got Mack to watch it on Netflix.  She invited us to go and watch it with her, which was good because at the time we thought that it wouldn't be on the website so we would't be able to watch it.  So we went over there on Sunday, but it was awkward because there were a lot of people we didn't know and they were all Juniors and old people.  So found out that AMC.com puts the episode up the next day so I will be watching it on that instead of the girl's place.  Yesterday was my first volleyball game and we won.  It went to five games however.  We have 10 people on our team, and 5 of us are outside, so I don't get a lot of playing time.  I have fun however because the coaches are super fun and we talk a lot on the bench.  I got all my serves in (1) and I am at 100% for my hits (0) so I am proud about that :p

My Birthday

So for those of you who do not know, Saturday was my birthday.  Now I will just jump straight into the festivities.  First I have a study group for Business Law and on Friday one of the people, Maggie, made cookies for my birthday.  I did not tell them it was my birthday because I don't like the attention.  She found out on Facebook (I am now friends with all of the group).  I also got some cookies from a girl in my English class, but she and her roommates just made a bunch of cookies for fun, so she was just giving me some because I am her friend, not for my bday.
Now on to Saturday.  My amazing Aunt and Uncle took me to dinner for my birthday.  Traci texted me on Friday asking if I wanted to go to dinner, and I said yes (surprised?).  She asked me where I wanted to go and I had no idea.  Now you guys now that I am THE MOST indecisive person in the world, and to add to that, I don't know what is around here.  But she was forceful.  She would not give up until I had made a decision.  So I decided on Olive Garden.  I thought it would be confusing for them to pick me up at the dorms, so I met them at the temple. I left a little early because I wasn't doing anything and I needed to get out of the dorm (I had been in there all day doing homework).  I took some pictures to pass the time (happy mom).
I failed, however, to take pictures during the dinner, but Traci took a lot so go look on her Instagram.
Traci and Randy needed to get stuff from Wal-Mart so they got me stuff too.  I don't really like making people buy stuff for me, but Traci was relentless and I just bunched it into them getting me a birthday present.  They got me some cereal, milk, hot chocolate, and some shampoo(not pictured).  For dinner I got the buy one take one home, so I got two meals out of the trip (plus the extra stuff).  I had a lot of fun and it was a great way to celebrate my first bday away from home.
When I got back, my roommates surprised me with some gifts.  Kyle got me a machete (a cheap one from Wal-Mart that was about $4)  And then Mack and Nic got me a new phone case.

We then watched Here Comes the Boom.  Which was another good way to celebrate my bday because of Charice.  I mean its Charice what could be better?

The manager's office where we pick up packages was closed on Sat and Sun so I couldn't open the things from home.  But today (I didn't have time yesterday) I went and picked them up.  I got some candy, gum, an umbrella, and a LOT of popcorn (my favorite).  I also got some balloons with messages on them and in them, but I failed to take a picture of them.  They also sent me a game which will help with the boarddom (get it BOARDdom :P)I also got a scarf, which was funny because I was LITERALLY thinking today that I would really like another scarf.  It is like three different colors, which is trippy, black, white, and a checkered pattern.

Now I am not ashamed to say that this is the best thing that I got for my birthday.  They are litterally heaven made.  It is like tasting the best thing in the world.  They are the perfect texture and flavor and everything.  They are...
I didn't know that my life was incomplete until I tried the delicious bite size amazingness.  I absolutely LOVE them and I am almost done with the whole bag (I started 10 min before writing this).

Thanks also to all of the texted/facebook wishes.

Second Week

This week has gone by much faster than last week(thankfully).  Volleyball tryouts were Thursday-Saturday and I saw Trevik and Mike Flag.  Trevik was actually on one of my scrimmage teams.  Everyone got drafted onto a team, but my team practices on Mondays and Wednesdays, which I cannot do because I have a class.  I told my coach, but she hasn't replied to me.  I will show up for the 15 minutes that I can be there to talk to her and hopefully sort it out.  It shouldn't be that hard.  Classes are finally getting into their groves.  I love business law and I have a study group that meets every Tuesday and Thursday.  It really helps a lot.  ECON is a little challenging, but if I try i should be able to do it.  Me Mack and Nic went to dinner with Dianne and her friends for her birthday.  We went to Da Pineapple Grill.  It was only ok.  Today Josh is going to make egg drop soup and beef and rice.  That should be good.  We went over to our FHE sisters' apartment (which is much bigger) and played Apples to Apples.  They all seem like cool people.

Sunday Dinner

Today was the day that dorm 367 decided to cook dinner.  Josh and I cooked the spaghetti and the kitchen was horrible.  The stove was a mess, the sink was full of dirty dishes, and we almost didn't find the utensils we needed.  In the end the spaghetti was good though.

My Week

This week felt crazy long.  On Wednesday we had a sorta get to know you thing in english, it was about our passion and we had to bring in something that went along with that passion.  I decided to bring in my volleyball shoe (because I couldn't think of anything else to bring in) and talked about how I was not competitive.  I am proud to say that I talked the longest (we had a minute, but most of them were like 10 seconds) and made everyone laugh multiple times.  I was pretty proud of myself.  I had a project for Money Management that I had to go to Albertsons  and price things (I had two other people in my group who went to Walmart and another store)  and I had to go multiple times because there were things that weren't in other stores.  On one of these occasions i brought my roommates Nic Mack and Josh with me because they needed to get somethings.  Nic ended up getting the Lord of the Rings trilogy for $12 and so we watched the first one that night.  We stayed up late watching it because we started late.  We originally wanted to watch all three that night, but then we got tired and stopped 20 min into the second one.  Then on Thursday I just did my homework and sat around.  When my Mack and Nic got back we finished the second movie.  Friday was our first ward party and it was a dinner at the park.  We got there a little late because we decided to walk there.  The dinner was roast pig, one that was brought in on a stick whole, but we were late so we didn't see it come in.  After dinner we played some games.  One of the games was the tangled circle thing where you grab two hands of the group in the center and then try to spread out into a circle.  Our team did it four times before any of the other teams finished.  It was fun.  Then we walked back and watched the third movie.  Me Mack and Zac stayed up late just playing cards and hanging and we decided to get a room together next semester.  We started looking at the places and prices, but determined that we would just go with the simple choice of going to the Lampretch building (which is right next to my dorm now) because it has a kitchen.  There are only four beds in each dorm so we were the only ones in my current dorm to sign up because everyone had at least one person already in it.  Today we just sat around and hung out.  I did my laundry today, but I am never going to do it on a Saturday ever again because everyone was doing it.  Afterwards me Mack and Zac went to Insidious 2.  I invited Dianne to go and it was pretty fun.   Then we dropped Dianne off and then just hung out and walked around.

Work Work Work

I decided to take a break from reading my textbook and post this.  On I-Learn (a place where the teachers post assignments and announcements) I saw something about reading the first chapter of my textbook for Business Law and so I decided to click it, but the assignment description didn't show up, so I am going to read it just in case it is due next class.  Anyways... today I mostly did homework for all my classes.  I stayed in the dorm for most of the day until devotional at that started at 2:15-3:00.  Bro. and Sis. Clark were the speakers and they talked mainly about working hard and working with the Lord to accomplish your goals and dreams.  The weather today was off and on.  It would rain for like five minutes then stop.  When we got out of the devotional it started to rain.  It was not a pouring rain, but the rain drops where HUGE!!!  One drop landed on one of my lenses and it covered the whole thing.  It was crazy so me. Mack, and Zac practically ran back to the dorm room.  Me and my roommates found out on Sunday that it is going to be hard to get throughout the day with no food places open, and a couple of cans would not do it for us.  So we decided to cook something each Sunday.  So after devotional me Mack and Zac went to go to the store to get some things and also to get the supplies for dinner.  I am most likely going to be the cook, but Joshua was the one with the idea so he might do some stuff too.  I used my amazing pricing skills and bought stuff for spaghetti.  It only cost $12.00 total so that is $2.00 a person for one meal.  I was pretty happy with that.  Last night after I posted we stayed up a while longer and me Kyle Mack and Joshua hung out in my room and just talked and did random things.  It was pretty fun.  Dianne got her phone fixed and I when I saw her today after devotional we exchanged numbers.  That is 8 new numbers I got while up here, granted five of them are for actual classes, but it still counts.

Frist Day of Classes

I decided to just update whenever I want instead of on a schedule because I might forget important things and just want to post random things.  Today was the first day of classes.  For those of you who didn't know I have all my classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I only have three of the six.  I woke up at 7:00am and went to my first class that started at 7:45.  Each class is an hour long and I have 15 minutes between each class.  I had two more class in the morning and then I was done at 11:45.  I went and had lunch and did random stuff until my next class that started at 2.  This class was BoM and I can already tell that I am going to like it.  My instructor is super cool, funny and entertaining.  His devotional for today I liked because of Grandma.  It was allegory of the olive tree, but he didn't take the usual spin on it.  He talked about how the two trees in the bad soil grew better then the one in the good soil and compared that to growing up and making choices.  Just because you grew up in a bad situation doesn't mean that you will be a "bad" person, and he even said "grow where you are planted" a couple of times.  So I was thinking of Grandma the whole time.  Then I had Business Law, I really liked this class because it is very interesting, but the instructor said that Freshmen probably should not take it.  This startled me a little, but I am going to stick to it and try my hardest.  Another little blimp on this classes radar is that we had to rate ourselves with how comfortable we were talking in class.  I rated myself 12/30 and there were three different categories.  Then we stood in a line and she divided us evenly and assigned a high score with a low score.  This is our only chance at extra credit and I have to raise my hand more than my partner in order for both of us to get the credit.  So that class is going to be interesting.  I already raised my hand three times and my partner only once, so I am doing good so far!  After this class I have a 30 minute break until my next class at 5 which is microeconomics.  Now this class I am worried most about because the instructor doesn't like lectures and it is mainly group type learning.  Also economics is a hard subject.  Tomorrow and Thursday I don't have any classes so I will do most of my work, but then on Wednesday it is the same schedule, but Friday I only have three classes 9-10, 10:15-11:15, and 3:15-4:15.

College Life

I haven't updated in forever because I frankly forgot about updating and so therefore never did, and the only reason that I am doing this now is because my mom is making me.  as many of you know I am starting my first semester of college at BYU-I and this weekend I moved into my dorms.  I have five roommates, Kyle who is in my room, Brigham, Nick, Mack, and Joshua.  They are all cool people, but we are all very different so it is going to be an interesting semester.  We are all freshmen besides Kyle who is a RM who served in England.  On my first day here I was able to move in quickly and get all my stuff so that I didn't have to worry about it.  My mom and dad were here to help me and they also took me to Wal-Mart to get some things that I needed.  There was a little orientation meeting and then after that we split up into assigned groups (all freshmen) and did a little get-to-know-you things.  There I met Theodore, who is from Henderson, NV and is related to one of my favorite teachers in high school.  So that was cool and exciting.  After that I got to say goodbye to my parents and have dinner with them one last time.  Later in the night there was a new student talent show that we went to in our groups.  It was pretty cool and there were some great acts (mostly singers).  Then we went directly to a gym where we did some fun games in our group.  We played missionary tag and also a giant game of ninja (there was at least 20 people in my group that showed up).  That was all really fun and lasted until around midnight so I didn't get to bed until around 1:30ish.  On Saturday we went and had some more introduction type meetings and then we went on a tour of the campus with our groups.  It was really interesting and informative, but seemed like it lasted forever.  We then separated from our groups and went to the college (department) that our major was apart of.  In my group there were two other people in the business college, both of them girls.  I only remember one of there names because we did some other stuff together later, but the other girl was also doing accounting and Dianne was doing business management (one of the majors I was considering).  We then went to the get involved fair where I signed up for a bunch of things (some of which I will not be doing) and hung out with Dianne and Mack.  Then I went back to my room to find that Kyle was moving in (he wasn't here on Friday) and then just hung out with Mack and Joshua.  We then went to I-Night, which was just a bunch of activities that you could do around the center of campus and hung out with Mack all night.  All night we were trying to figure out which ward we were supposed to go to on Sunday and finally around 11:45 we figured it out.  I am in the 41st ward in the 5th stake and I meat at 10:30.  Now I am just sitting around the room and doing random things with my roommates.  I only have a microwave to cook things in, but I got a lot of soup on Friday, but when I cooked my lunch today I was afraid cause my microwave was making a weird noise, but Kyle didn't seem to react so I figured it was normal.  Well that was my weekend and I will try to update at least every other Sunday, but judging by this post I might have to do it every Sunday to make the posts shorter.
